Our staff makes a GREAT team; with the right mix of skill and backgrounds, and has been carefully chosen to provide the best care for your pet, with their keen ability to relate to the animals and to comfort them in stressful situations.  All staff members participate in continuing education programs.  Most have special interests or areas of expertise within the practice.

MEET OUR DOCTORS:

Dr. Margaret Lake received her Doctor of Veterinary Medicine degree from the University of California-Davis in 1979.  Her love and compassion for animals motivated her to concentrate exclusively on canine and feline care.  Her special interests are in the fields of Dermatology

Dr. Marvin Helphrey received his Doctor of Veterinary Medicine degree from Iowa State University in 1974.  Post graduate education included a two-year surgical internship.  The next two years were spent at the University of California-Davis in an Anesthesia/Intensive Care residency.  Dr. Helphrey's special interests encompass the fields of Anesthesia, Dentistry, Dr. Helphrey is Certified in the TPLO His advanced training along with extensive technical monitoring provide the patient with optimal veterinary care.

Together, the Doctors designed and built the Veterinary Hospital in 1980 and have provided quality Veterinary Care to the community since.  The office has gone through several remodels
